Trey Zoeller, founder of Jefferson’s Bourbon, and his father Chet Zoeller, co-founder and renowned bourbon historian, are set to be the first father-son duo to be induced into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.

The annual event will take place on September 13th at The Legacy at Dant Crossing in Nelson County, Ky. Founded in 2001, the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant impacts on the Bourbon industry in the US. Candidates are nominated each year by the KDA and its member distilleries. A blue-ribbon committee – including all living recipients of the Parker Beam Lifetime Achievement Award – reviews and selects applicants for induction.

Other inductees this year include Dr. Jerry O. Dalton, retired Master Distiller, Jim Beam; and the late Mrs. Dixie Sherman Demuth, Owner, Dixie’s Elbow Room.

This distinguished induction celebrates Jefferson’s unique distilling techniques, masterful blending skills, and pursuit of crafting innovative, award-winning bourbons and ryes.

Together, Trey and Chet Zoeller have helped push the boundaries of bourbon through their unique perspectives. Rooted in exploration and a pioneering spirit, Trey and Chet have challenged bourbon’s definition while never forgetting it’s past – creating a brand that will continue to operate at the frontier of whiskey.

Trey and Chet represent a balance between innovation and tradition, and are thrilled to be recognized by the Kentucky Distillers’ Association.
