Chivas Regal is shaking up the Scotch whisky category this fall in the United States with the launch of Chivas XV (SRP: $49.99).

Chivas XV was created by Chivas Regal’s Director of Blending, Sandy Hyslop and his expert blending team. The style offers sweet aromas of marmalade, cinnamon and juicy sultanas that transform into a delicious medley of fruit flavors intermingled with butterscotch and caramel toffees, with a velvety finish thanks to the use of Cognac casks for the finish.

Chivas doesn’t lose sight of its rich heritage and expertise in the art of blending some of the finest Scotch whiskies. Managing the balance between the distillery’s unique flavors and cask influence, Chivas XV is aged for a minimum of 15 years in oak casks and selectively finished in French Cognac casks, which delivers a beautifully golden and velvety interpretation.

The result: the perfect taste profile for a wide range of serving options, encouraging whisky fans to imbibe in  their favorite spirit in a whole new way.  From a smooth neat pour to a deliciously unexpected cocktail (see below), Chivas XV was designed to emphasize the quality and rich flavor of the Scotch.

As a permanent part of the Chivas Regal range, the new blended Scotch delivers golden-hues that will turn Happy Hour into Golden Hour.

Chivas was pioneered in the 19th century by Scottish brothers James and John Chivas. Their humble early experiments blending aged whiskies developed profoundly and solidified their position as true pioneers in the art of blending. And, with their entrepreneurial and pioneering mindset, they became globally renowned for fine luxury products.

At the heart of each and every Chivas Regal blend is Strathisla Single Malt, produced at Strathisla, the oldest working distillery in the Speyside region of the Scottish Highlands. Today, the Chivas Brothers’ legacy lives on globally through the brand’s portfolio of blended Scotch because for James and John Chivas, success always tastes better when shared.
