The award winning ‘Burren Ecotourism Network’ is offering a taste of the Burren this Christmas with the launch of its new online gift Guide.
Many of the region’s top food producers feature in the guide which includes hampers, vouchers, books and experiences which can be purchased online, delivered or are available through a click and collect service.
Flaggy Shore Oysters, Burren Gold Cheese, Burren Free Range Pork, Burren Smoke house, Wild Kitchen and St Tola Goat Cheese are some of the well-known producers who are offering hampers and gifts online this Christmas.
Recently the network was named as one of the Lonely Planet’s ‘Best in Travel 2021’ – one of only 30 top places, people and tourism projects in the world to receive this honour.
The network received the award for its community tourism project which celebrates slow tourism, local engagement and a greater responsibility for a more sustainable future for the area.

This year, Burren Free Range Pork have assembled an Artisan Christmas Food Hamper featuring their own products and those from Co Clare.
